Before You Send Information
Please do not send confidential or highly sensitive information until I confirm that I am able to review your matter. Sending a message by email or through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship.
I review new matters for conflicts, deadlines, availability, and fit before scheduling a consultation.
For an Initial Inquiry, Please Include
Your name and contact information.
The general type of issue, such as trust administration, probate, estate planning, real estate, HOA, deed, easement, boundary dispute, fiduciary dispute, or selected civil matter.
The county and state involved.
Any court case number, hearing date, response deadline, closing date, probate deadline, trustee deadline, or other urgent date.
The names of the main parties involved, so I can check for conflicts.
Your role in the matter, such as trustee, successor trustee, beneficiary, personal representative, heir, property owner, board member, business owner, referring attorney, broker, agent, or other involved person.
A short, non-confidential summary of what you need help with.
What Not to Send at First
Please do not send original documents, payment, checks, wire instructions, account numbers, Social Security numbers, medical records, confidential files, or highly sensitive personal information unless I specifically request them.
Please also do not send a long set of attachments before I confirm that I can review the matter. A short initial description is usually enough to begin the conflict and fit review.
Referrals
If you are a friend, family member, broker, agent, attorney, or other referral source, please have the potential client contact me directly when possible. Legal matters involve confidentiality and conflict considerations, so it is usually best for me to communicate directly with the person who may need legal advice.
